Catch a great play at Shakespeare & Company before or after Brock Trot!
The Hound of the Baskervilles: A hoot. A howl. A Monty Python-like spoof in the best tradition of British comedy. This ‘fun for the whole family’ romp takes one of the most popular Sherlock Holmes tales and ruins it—umm, we mean, turns it inside out—stuffing it with endless laughs as it barrels forward at a breakneck pace, all the while daring the audience to hold on tight with both hands as your favorite sleuths’, Holmes and Watson, try to solve a very mysterious and perplexing crime. The Hound of the Baskervilles, performed by three actors playing a multiple of roles, with multiple highly questionable accents, several quick-change beards, and just a smattering of cross-dressing thrown in for good measure, is not to be missed!
All Brock Trot participants and sponsors receive 40% off tickets for either the Saturday, October 24th 7:30pm performance or the Sunday, October 24th 2pm matinee. Just call the Box Office at 413-637-3353 and ask for “Brock Tix” and book your tickets today! Limited seating. Advance booking is highly recommended as these shows will sell out.
The Hound of the Baskervilles, directed by Artistic Director Tony Simotes features Josh Aaron McCabe, Jonathan Croy and Ryan Winkles . Performances run September 18 through November 8th in the Elayne P.Bernstein Theatre at Shakespeare & Company, 70 Kemble Street , Lenox MA.
